One of America’s most significant challenges is healthcare, and access to healthcare is a huge issue in the lives of millions of Americans, affecting everything from employment and career decisions to financial stability to simple matters of human dignity.
Texas is the least insured state in the country, and is currently one of the few remaining states that have not adopted Medicaid expansion. Lack of access to healthcare hurts our economy, makes life unnecessarily difficult for families, and endangers our children.
